So well, after trying for another 20min, we gave up. Went in to see the gynae. She explained that waiting instead of inducing might have a risk of baby pooping inside. So I just told her we decided to induce. I didn't expect her to do it for me there and then. But she did.
Anyway, she did ultrascan for me. Baby is fine. She mentioned that my tummy is soft, no sign of labour. Then she proceeded to check if my cervix was opened. After which, she proceeded to insert the tablet to induce me into the vagina. I was scared stiff. It was a little painful. But thank God it's all over. Feels like doing a Pap smear.
After that, I did a CTG scan again. Everything is normal. So I was told to go back and wait. If there's any bleeding, water bag burst or contractions, I have to admit myself to hospital. If not, I will admit myself at 11.30pm tonight.
Wow! It feels so unreal... I think I was still in a state of shock when I walked out of the clinic. Everything was so fast.
Now that I'm back home, I'm gonna catch a gd nap, wipe Rachael's cot then lay the bed sheet for her.. Hope I can get a good rest before the long wait tonight.
Let it be a smooth and fast delivery I pray. Amen!!
